Laboratory Services

Expert services

In addition to contracted projects with commercial entities and public and state administration bodies, we consider the provision of services to a broad range of users and clients to be an integral part of our professional mission. Such activities ensure ongoing engagement with agricultural producers and stakeholders in the field.

Accordingly, the Institute’s laboratories provide physicochemical analytical services for food products (wine and olive oil), soil, plant material, and aqueous solutions. To ensure and demonstrate the quality of these laboratory services, we have, over many years, systematically acquired and maintained the required laboratory equipment.

The Enology Laboratory is the first testing laboratory within the Institute to have obtained accreditation in accordance with the HRN EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (Croatian Accreditation Agency certificate no. 1202, dated 08/07/2009). The laboratory has subsequently been reaccredited by the same agency (certificate 1202 dated 08/07/2014; certificate 1202 dated 08/07/2019; certificate 1202 dated 01/02/2021; certificate 1202 dated 18/01/2024; and certificate 1202 dated 07/08/2024). A traceability system has been established in all other testing laboratories.
